Tacoma Community College Digital Photography Class- Week 3
This week we covered Elements of Art and Composition, Part 1. I got to introduce my students to some of my favorite photographers- Imogen Cunningham, Andres Serrano, Robert Mapplethorpe (and I even managed to find a safe for everyone image!), Richard Avedon and a few others.
Homework was to pick 4 elements and shoot them. I'm shooting right along with them. I think it's important to them to see me doing the work, too, and it helps me get back to basics and to just SEEING. I'll put those up in a seperate post later this afternoon.
